This cross is created from my personal paint palette. A palette that is used to paint banners, canvases, murals, and more.
When praying what to name this series, the Lord gave me the word “covered”. The more I meditated on that word, I realized how perfect it was. Each piece is a ‘one of one’ and has many layers to it. Just like us as humans, we are each uniquely made in the image of God - full of layers - and through it all, we are COVERED by His saving grace. Nothing can separate us.
"For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord." Romans 8:38-39
